OFFER DESIGN AND BUYER ENABLEMENT

Stop selling hard.
Make buying easy.

I help agency founders and consultants escape the sales slog by designing an offer that practically sells itself and streamlining the buyer journey.
"Last year I hired Joe to help me overhaul my offer. That engagement didn't just result in a brand new B2B offer which I'm now selling, it forced a strategic audience shift that allowed me to quadruple my pricing."
Talica Davies
Founder, TD Sales Consulting

Selling hard is a symptom.
Your offer is the problem.

It's easy to blame your lack of clients on your lack of sales skills. And most sales consultants would have you believe that the solution is to hustle harder and become some kind of elite closing machine. But in all my years working with agencies and consultants one thing has become clear...

Selling is what you have to do when your offer isn't easy to buy.

selling

[noun]
the job and skill of persuading people to buy things

buyability

[noun]
the practice of making something easy to buy

So you need an offer designed to sell itself.

Instead of obsessing over how to improve your pitch or build relationships or handle objections, I'll help you build an offer that is inherently buyable and design a buyer journey that does the work for you. So that your best-fit clients can understand, want, and buy without you having to sell hard.

I call this buyability, and it's how you sell without selling.
"I already had a pretty good idea of what I needed to do with Mojo, but Joe gave it the tightening up it needed to really shine. In the first couple of months since launching we've had over 15 inbound opportunities, our first clients, and a lot of buzz."
Eric Holland
Founder, Mojo PMM

The three layers of buyability.

DESIRED:

Can your buyer easily understand the value of your offer?
DIFFERENT:

Can your buyer easily see how your offer compares to others?
DECISIVE:

Can your buyer easily say yes and move forward with your offer?

Seller-centric

Focused on selling harder.
Flexible, custom scoped offers.
Pricing hidden until discovery.
Sales calls designed to persuade.
Objections handled in person.

vs

Buyer-centric

Focused on making buying easy.
Clearly packaged-up offers.
Pricing visible and transparent.
Sales calls designed to qualify.
Objections handled upfront.

I help agency owners stop the sales struggle by making them more buyable.

In a 4-6 week process I'll help you identify where your sales friction lives, package up your offer so it's easier to buy, and map out the exact buyer journey for it.
STEP 01:

I’ll audit your current offer and buyer journey.

I’ll act as a ‘mystery shopper’, going through your website and sales process as if I was a prospect.

I’ll then write up a report on where the buyer friction is and how you might fix it, along with a video walking you through it.
STEP 02:

We'll turn your services into a packaged offer.

In a two-hour workshop, we’ll decide on a core problem and package up your services into a compelling solution.

I’ll then create a google doc with copy that outlines your new offer so that it's easy to share and gather feedback.
STEP 03:

You'll go and validate your new offer with actual clients.

Using the google doc, you'll share your new offer with a handful of clients to see what works and what doesn't.

This allows you to pre-validate your offer and copy beforehand so you can launch it confidently when it's ready.
STEP 04:

I'll turn that offer copy into a sales page wireframe.

Now that we've validated the offer and copy, I'll take the google doc and translate it into a landing page wireframe.

You'll get a Figma file with a lo-fi wireframe that you can either use to build your page in-house or hand over to your designer.
STEP 05:

We'll map out your buyer journey so it's frictionless.

In a final two-hour workshop, we’ll map out the entire buying process from first touchpoint to final decision.

You'll get a doc that visualises the process and lists the assets you'll need to make sure your buyer has everything they need.

"Joe's workshop was amazing! It helped me finally clarify how to position my offer and validated months of mental back-and-forth before launching. Now I’ve got a crystal-clear offer and a kickass process to sell it right."

Gab Bujold
Founder, Press X To Market
"In the first two weeks since designing our offer, I'm having plenty of conversations where the new offer is resonating really well. People know exactly what I'm offering and the tangible value it provides."

Steven Papaioannou
Founder, The Customer Lab
"Joe helped me get the clarity I’d been chasing for months. I had multiple good offers but I struggled to package them into something clear and compelling. Now I have a buyable offer that makes sense to me and my clients."

Other stuff you should know...

Who do you typically work with?

Usually solo consultants and founder-led agencies who are struggling to get deals over the line.

Who should join from my team?

I insist on working directly with the founder or MD for this work as it’s so crucial. You might also bring in other people responsible for new business throughout the process.

Can you do the workshops in-person?

I can, but it depends on location and also will come at an extra cost to cover time and travel. Remote usually works fine.

What are the main deliverables?

With the full Buyability Blueprint package you’ll get the audit report, offer page (as a google doc), the buyer journey map, and recordings of all the workshops.

If you buy the audit then you’ll obviously just get the audit report.

How can I validate the offer?

A big part of the process is all about validation. You'll share the google doc with current clients, previous clients, or ideally actual prospects to see how it lands with them.

Can I buy the audit and then upgrade?

Of course! Once I deliver the audit, you can either take it and fix the issues yourself or move on to the full package, minus the £500 cost you’ve already paid for the audit.

How long does it take?

The full package takes roughly 4-6 weeks from kickoff to handover of the deliverables, depending on how fast you can get the feedback.

The audit on its own takes around 3-5 business days for me to write and send over.

Will you help with execution?

At the end of the process, you'll still need to develop other assets and potentially make ongoing tweaks to your offer. We can discuss ways in which I can stay around to help.

Do you do any market research?

I may do some light desk research as part of the audit, but most of the market-specific knowledge should come from you or your team.
